Effortless Perfection
Our Cabernet Vineyard is located in the center of the Napa Valley between highway 29 and the Napa River. It's on the alluvial fan of Mill Creek and is composed of 80% rock. The wine shows the grace of Napa Valley Cabernets yet has the structure we see in wines from stony hillside vine yards. We harvest the grapes when they ripen but not overly so. Our Cabernet shows many qualities of a great Bordeaux.
From time to time, we taste through the library vintages to see how well they are ageing and I want to re-release our captivating 2007 Estate Cabernet. With its gorgeous mouthfeel, balanced tannins, old warm charm and enchanting aromas, its a wine that tells a 20- year old story of flavor, balance and structure.
